Hi, I am Carmi Nieuwenhuizen
I am just a local photographer nestled in the heart of Bloemfontein!
I do photography part time as I do have a full-time job. I loved taking photos of my family, friends and especially my dogs when I was younger but I never pursued my passion until 2021.
After years of studying Agriculture, I decided it's not what I want to do with my life and I studied Photography instead! I couldn't be more thankful for my mother for providing me with my studies and my equipment I have today. Definitely was blessed with her and she made it possible to pursue my dreams by giving me the necessary building blocks of my photography career.
I have a diploma in Professional Photography and also a certificate in Wedding Photography.
I love natural lighting and do most of my session in the out doors, I don't have my own studio, but the outdoors is my studio I always say!
I would love to become a full-time photographer one day but with today's economy it's just not possible. I am able to help my clients throughout the week after 5 and all hours throughout the weekends.
I am the only photographer in Moonchild Photography, but don't fret, dynamite comes in small packages!
